Glossary for TankerGlossary for “The Tanker” Enlisted Ranks Private – Lowest ranking military ranks. New soldiers, generally those in Basic Combat Training and the subsequent Advanced Individual Training (such as Armor School), wear no insignia (PV1 or ES1) . The more senior PV2 (ES2) wears a single chevron. Both are addressed as Private PFC – Private first class, usually 1–2 years experience. Addressed as Private SPC – Specialist, same pay as a corporal, but not an NCO. The U.S. Army doesn’t use the NCO rank of corporal much anymore and instead uses specialist 4 (called spec 4) Glossary for Tanker

So, I'm actually actively working on chapter three of Tanker. The previous chapters have been posted elsewhere on the net. I hope you enjoy it. When I say I'm actively working on chapter three, that means I added 4 pages to it this year.
